I am admitted to practice law before the following courts and jurisdictions:

Commonwealth of Massachusetts, admitted December 1985

State of New Hampshire, admitted January 2004

State of New York, admitted October, 2003

United States District Court, District of Massachusetts, admitted 1986

I graduated from New England Law|Boston in 1985, and was admitted to the Massachusetts Bar in December 1985. I have practiced law in both the public sector and the private sector. Therefore, I have had the privilege and the opportunity to represent individuals from all walks of life, with varying cultural and economic backgrounds, and with a broad range of legal and financial concerns.

My legal experience in both the public and private sectors has given me a broad perspective in practice. I have successfully handled a wide-variety of family law matters, inlcuding divorce, paternity, custody, child support, alimony, prenuptial agreements, adoption, guardianship
, grandparent visitation, Department of Children and Families (DCF) matters, Department of Revenue/Child Support (DOR) matters, inter-jurisdictional matters, and property division and the establishment of de-facto parent-child relationships in the context of non-traditional families.

I started my career as an associate in a small general practice law firm in Essex County in 1986, where I handled family law cases, personal injury cases, and criminal cases.

From 1988-1994, I held the position of Supervising Attorney of the Family Law Unit at Merrimack Valley Legal Services, Inc., in Lawrence, MA where I developed an expertise in child custody matters and domestic violence matters in the context of divorce, paternity and guardianship. While at Legal Services, I also handled child abduction matters and interstate child custody matters.

From 1994-1997, I joined my colleague, Mary Rudolph Black in the private practice of law in Gloucester, MA, where I focused my practice on family law and general civil litigation.

From 1997-2001 I was an attorney in the litigation department of the Massachusetts Department of Revenue/Child Support Enforcement Division where I handled child support establishment and child support enforcement matters in the Essex County and Middlesex County Probate & Family Courts.

From 2001-2006, I held the position of Senior Associate at Kazarosian Law Offices in Haverhill, MA where I handled complex domestic relations and civil litigation matters in both the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and the State of New Hampshire.

In 2006, I relocated my law practice to Salem, MA, where I started my own practice in an "Of Counsel" arrangement to Louis J. Muggeo & Associates, LLC, and later expanded my practice as a sole practitioner to my current location.
